FAQ
1. What kind of support do you offer at House of Love?
We walk with individuals on deeply personal healing journeys—especially those who have lived through significant trauma. Whether it’s childhood wounds, emotional betrayal, or experiences of abuse, we create a compassionate space where you can begin to unpack pain and rediscover your voice.
2. What makes your approach different?
We don’t rush. We don’t diagnose. We reflect, gently guide, and hold space. Our model is grounded in empathy, emotional safety, and deep listening. Healing is not linear—and we honour that truth.
3. Who do you work with?
We work with individuals who are ready to begin (or continue) their healing process. Many of our clients have experienced childhood trauma, emotional neglect, manipulation, sexual assault, or other deep wounds. If your story includes pain that feels too heavy to carry alone, you are welcome here.
4. Do I have to be in crisis to seek support?
Not at all. Some of our clients come to us in moments of crisis, while others are simply feeling disconnected, numb, or stuck. Healing doesn’t require a breakdown to begin—it only requires honesty and openness.
5. How do sessions work?
Each session is a sacred space—private, gentle, and unhurried. You are never pressured to share more than you’re ready for. Through reflection, conversation, and presence, we help you make meaning of your experiences and begin the slow work of healing.
6. Is everything I say kept confidential?
Yes. Your privacy, dignity, and trust are of utmost importance. Everything shared with us is held with care, in strict confidence, unless there is a legal obligation to ensure safety.
7. Can I just come for one session?
Yes. Sometimes one conversation can shift something inside. Whether you need one session or a longer journey of support, we meet you where you are.
8. Is this therapy?
While our work is deeply therapeutic in nature, we are not offering clinical therapy. Our work is reflective, spiritual, and emotional—focused on supporting your healing journey in a holistic, human-centered way.
9. How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’ve felt unseen, unheard, or unsafe for much of your life—and you’re now ready to reclaim your story in a safe and loving space—this may be the beginning you’ve been longing for.
10. How can I begin?
Simply reach out. The first step is a gentle one—a conversation to understand your needs and see how we can support you. You don’t have to have all the answers. Just bring your truth. We’ll meet you there.
